| Holiday Arts & Crafts Showcase and Trade Show
Following the success of the first ever Arts & Crafts Showcase and Trade Show in March, we are announcing that it will be happening again! As someone who either was a participant, or someone who expressed an interest, we wanted to give you the earliest notice to save the date. The Holiday Arts & Crafts Showcase and Trade Show will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 1-5pm. We hope you can be here.
Get ready for the Christmas and holiday sales season. As a merchant in the southern Oregon region; or an artist, and someone who makes hand crafted goods - this is a wonderful opportunity to link locally produced fine arts and handmade items together with retail outlets and wholesale distributors in an invitation only showcase and trade show.
This show is a unique opportunity to connect buyers with sellers, and to be able to emphasize the talent and trade in the greater southern Oregon region. This show is not open to the public. As a participant, you must register in advance for a space will be reserved for you. The holiday showcase and trade show will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 1-5pm at the Kerby Belt Building in the Illinois Valley.
For the artists/producers: This is your opportunity to showcase your fine art and/or handmade crafts to regional retailers. Bring your sample items, photos, brochures, order forms, and business cards. As the producer, you must be present at the show and all work exhibited must be original and completely finished. Be prepared to show your items and answer questions from retailers.
For the merchants: This is your opportunity to preview products from many local and regional artists and producers. Hundreds of items will be on display. Find new and unique locally produced items for your holiday season retail inventory. Bring your business cards and order forms. Be prepared to see some fantastic items and meet talented artists.
This showcase and trade show is hosted and presented by the Illinois Valley Business Entrepreneurial Center. We support small business and microenterprise creation and growth. Through partnerships with Rogue Community College's Business Development Center (RCC/BDC), Josephine County, and Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc (SOREDI), the IVBEC provides a central contact point for business counseling, referral, and instructional resources. To date, we have worked with over 50 clients, and helped them to create or retain over 20 jobs in the Illinois Valley.
More information will follow in the coming months. We wanted to give you the earliest possible notice so that you can save the date and plan to attend.
We look forward to seeing you in Kerby on September 18th.
